NATIONAL ALLIANCE OF MENTAL HEALTH PROVIDERS (NAMHP)
MEMBERSHIP AGREEMENT

1. Introduction & Acceptance
By joining NAMHP, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this Membership Agreement. This agreement governs your participation in NAMHP programs, services, and the member portal. NAMHP reserves the right to modify these terms at any time, with changes taking effect upon notice to members. Failure to comply with these terms may result in membership termination.

2. Privacy & Data Protection
NAMHP is committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of its members. By joining, you consent to the collection and use of your data for membership management, advocacy efforts, event participation, and professional development opportunities. NAMHP may utilize AI technologies to enhance operations, including personalized content delivery and administrative efficiency. AI-driven processes are subject to strict privacy and security standards, and your data will not be sold or shared for marketing purposes.

3. Confidentiality & Professional Conduct
All members must uphold the confidentiality of NAMHP discussions, resources, and strategies. This includes:

Maintaining privacy regarding internal advocacy initiatives, forums, and member communications.

Respecting the confidentiality of other members’ personal and professional information.

Adhering to ethical standards set by relevant licensing and professional organizations (e.g., APA, NASW).

Engaging in professional and respectful interactions; harassment, discrimination, and hostile conduct are strictly prohibited.

Reporting any breaches of confidentiality or inappropriate behavior to NAMHP leadership.

4. Use of the NAMHP Member Portal
The NAMHP member portal is a professional space for collaboration, networking, and advocacy. By using the portal, you agree:

To use the portal exclusively for NAMHP-related professional activities.

Not to distribute, copy, or share restricted content outside of NAMHP without explicit authorization.

To refrain from advertising, soliciting, or self-promotion unless expressly permitted.

That NAMHP may revoke access for any violations of these terms.

5. Advocacy & Community Standards
NAMHP encourages active member participation in advocacy efforts while maintaining professionalism. When engaging in NAMHP advocacy:

Represent NAMHP values with integrity, professionalism, and respect for diverse perspectives.

Ensure communications align with NAMHP’s mission and official positions.

Avoid unauthorized representation of NAMHP in legislative or public forums.

Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within NAMHP and the broader mental health community.
6. Intellectual Property & Content Usage
All resources, materials, and content provided by NAMHP, including training materials, reports, and advocacy tools, are protected intellectual property. Members may use these materials for NAMHP-related activities but are prohibited from:

Reproducing, selling, or distributing NAMHP content without explicit permission.

Claiming NAMHP-produced materials as their own work.

Misrepresenting NAMHP content or modifying materials in a way that misaligns with organizational standards.
7. Enforcement & Termination
NAMHP reserves the right to take corrective action against any member violating this agreement. Potential actions include:

Formal warnings for minor violations.

Temporary suspension from the member portal.

Termination of membership for severe or repeated violations.
-
Legal action where necessary to protect NAMHP’s interests.

Revocation of participation in events, advocacy efforts, or professional development programs.
8. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes related to this agreement will first be addressed through NAMHP’s internal dispute resolution process. If a resolution cannot be reached, legal proceedings will be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which NAMHP is registered.

9. Acknowledgment & Agreement
By submitting your membership application or renewing your membership, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by this Membership Agreement.
